It was senseless to think that anything
could fall
so fast
furiously
This giant bird
a Phoenix going backwards
Into darkness
50 pairs of eyes
they saw (what did they see?)
50 pairs of hands
holding on to each other
50 hearts beating as fast as
they are falling
50 beings gone in a flash
